Geophysical Methods- Dual Seminars on Full Waveform Inversion
From the FORCE Geophysical Methods working group, we're pleased to announce dual Fall 2021 virtual seminars: “Reflections on FWI” (25 October 2021), and “Impressions of FWI” (1 November 2021). The dual seminars will allow us to cover all the latest in technical developments from key vendors, as well as review recent case studies and applications from leading operators. Please set your calendars and join us for two “revealing” sessions on the latest developments and applications in FWI technology. Both seminars will be virtually hosted on MS Teams, and are open to all interested employees of FORCE member companies (free of charge). The presentations for both sessions will be of value to all subsurface disciplines, including geologists and interpreters.

Session 2, Nov. 1: “Impressions of FWI” – noon to 4pm.
Our second session will have two elements, beginning with two technical presentations from academic institutions, including Romain Brossier (Principle Investigator, Seiscope II FWI Project, Université Grenoble Alpes). The academic sessions will be followed by three “operator forums” – hosted by Equinor, Lundin and Aker BP. Each forum includes case study presentations on real-world operational problems, followed by a distinguished panel discussion with interactive audience Q&A.

FORCE uses Teams Video for this webinar, and has proven to work successfully.
We recomment that everyone joining turn off their camera and microphone when joining.

FORCE seminars have previously been fully booked with waiting lists so you are encouraged to sign up as soon as you know you will attend.
Once you have registered, you will receive an outlook invitation with the Teams link. You will receive the link a few days prior to the webinar.
You cannot forward the link to people who is not registered.
