Welcome to the first in-person annual event from the FORCE Technical Committee on Energy Efficiency and Environment. This will be an open event, aiming to reach a broad target group with interest in the topics of energy efficiency and environment and how it relates to oil and gas companies. The event will be an engaging in-person event with presentations, a panel debate and discussions – all arranged at NPD’s offices in Stavanger.

Lein Mann Bergsmark is a Senior Analyst within Rystad Energy’s Energy Service Research department. She is the Product Manager of the Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage (CCUS) and hydrogen service solution, used to analyze the supply chain in these sectors. She has previous experience in analyzing oilfield service as well as renewable supply chain markets and performing financial and cost analysis, in addition to monetary policy work at the Norwegian central bank. She holds a MSc degree in Business and Economics from BI Norwegian Business School.

 

Imran Abdul-Majid is the Technical Lead for Northern Lights Joint Venture in Norway, seconded from Shell, and holds Master of Science degree in reservoir engineering from NTNU, Norway. Imran joined Shell in 2001 as a graduate and have held technical, corporate, strategy and project management roles in Norway, United Kingdom, Sultane of Brunei, Sultane of Oman and recently in State of Kuwait. His experience covers the entire spectre from field exploration, integrated development, field abandonment, economics, and commercial interfaces. During his corporate role, he has gained experience in LNG business, petrochemical plant, shipping, portfolio planning, gas contract negotiations, governance, and assurance. His current role is to provide technical management and leadership for worlds first carbon transport and storage project in Norway.

 

Frida Berglund is Consultant within Energy Markets & Strategy in DNV. Frida is working within business lead in the energy markets, technology and strategy space, helping clients make informative decisions on business strategies and investments as part of the energy transition. Main area of expertise include hydrogen, battery storage and other emerging energy technologies, techno-economic analysis of energy value chains, as well as decarbonization of transport.
