Webinar: Goliat Retrofit MLT: from target maturation to production performance. Lessons Learned and future plans

In 2020/2021 two infill targets were drilled and completed as subsea retrofit MLTs in the Vår Energi operated Goliat field.

This webinar covers the subsurface target maturation process performed in order to identify the infill targets. Pre-drill evaluations were performed to ensure the ability to optimally produce the new lateral commingled with the existing bore.

Further the actual production performance from the two new wells are presented and compared to pre-drill expectations. The successful implementation has opened up the possibility to further utilize the technology in the Goliat field, and another campaign of two MLT infills is planned to be performed later in 2022.
