Core Webinar: The Edvard Grieg cores, the first oil discovery made by Lundin Energy at the Norwegian shelf
Welcome to a series of three webinars featuring examples of how cores can be used in subsurface interpretation and what we can learn from studying the cored rocks. In this second webinar Jamie Good Quin and Ronald Sørlie from Lundin Energy will be presenting the Edvard Grieg cores, the first oil discovery made by Lundin Energy at the Norwegian shelf.

The webinar series consists of video recordings of Lundin geologists describing cores at the actual core store location and will take you through key cores from exploration wells on the Utisra High in the North Sea and the Loppa High in the Barents Sea.
We hope these webinars will give a flavor of how cores are used in exploration and inspire both geoscience students and industry professionals.
