Webinar: Field trip to Brent & Hugin analogues

The motivation is to show a set of spectacular but remote outcrops located in New Mexico versus the standard Book Cliffs field trip most Norwegians have already visited. During the field trip, we will see some of the world's best-preserved transgressive stratigraphy, the most textbook examples of an asymmetric delta, and classic shoreface para-sequences. This talk highlights the rationale for choosing these outcrops as Brent analogues and why participants should join this field trip.
