This talk will discuss the design of CO2 storage projects using insights from several operating and planned projects in Norway and worldwide. Key topics include:
- The main processes involved in the geologic storage of CO2
- The estimation of CO2 storage capacity
- The main constraints to storage – injectivity, pressure limits and geomechanics.
- Smart and cost-effective approaches for site monitoring
