The CCS network group invites you to a webinar on pressure interaction between CO2 storage sites. Jørg Aarnes (Offshore Norge) and Sylvain Thibeau (TotalEnergies) will be presenting. Don't miss out on this great event.

Date Time Duration Register by Location
28. May 12-13 1 hour 28. May Teams

Sylvain will open the discussion with technical aspects of pressurization of saline aquifers: how CO2 storage resources are intimately related to pressurization and why pressurization can occur on large horizontal distances in a saline aquifer. Jørg will then elaborate on ongoing work of a technical workgroup of Offshore Norge on this question: how pressurization could impact CCS licenses in the Norwegian Continental Shelf; and what are the technical and regulatory challenges to progress on this issue.
