To increase knowledge of sedimentology and stratigraphy in the Norwegian Continental Shelf to enhance exploration and production activities on the NCS.

- 2-3 workshops each year
- Bring academics, contractors and oil companies together to discuss relevant topics
- Core workshops and technical seminars
- Provide an arena for discussion of stratigraphy and sedimentological issues.
