09/10/2024 Factmaps and Factpages may be unstable and partly unavailable 16th October - 1st of October 2024 due to system maintenance.

Maintenance will be done in from 0900. This applies also partly the next day.

  • TUF-pane, both page- and tableview are included in search index.
  • Corrected sorting on pageview for wellbore.
  • Better handling of objects without geometry.
  • Minor bugfixes
  • Minor changes in tags/column names.

Factmaps

  • New factmaps in beta-version on https://factmaps.sodir.no/FactmapsBeta/. Existing and beta version are operated in parallel with same data sources. Official launch and decommissioning will be done later. Feedback is highly appreciated and can be sent to factweb@sodir.no
  • APA Open gross historical – APA areas with history, new maplayer and service
  • Area status – opened areas for petroleum and seabed minerals, new map layer and service. Existing service https://factmaps.sodir.no/arcgis/rest/services/Themes/AreaStatus_1_0/MapServer will be decommissioned in 3 months.
  • Sedimentlines, new map layer and service
  • Several changes in attribut-tags on REST/OGC-services. Se overview in the changelog.

23/12/2024 Equinor and its partners have drilled two dry wells (“Kvernbit/Mimung”) in the North Sea.

23/12/2024 The Norwegian Offshore Directorate has granted Vår Energi ASA drilling permit for wellbore7/1-3 in production licence 1090, cf. Section 13 of the Resource Management Regulations.
Production figures November 2024
20/12/2024 Preliminary production figures for November 2024 show an average daily production of 1 975 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate.
