Guidelines for nominating blocks for the 23rd licensing round on the Norwegian continental shelf
14/03/2019 The nominated blocks should be divided into two categories - "interesting" and "very interesting". The total number of nominated blocks should be limited upwards to 15. The nominations should not exceed one A4 page for each block/combination of blocks nominated.

23rd licensing round - announcement
14/03/2019 The Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has announced the 23 rd licensing round today, 20 January 2015. Fifty-seven blocks/parts of blocks are being announced in this round, of which three are in the Norwegian Sea and 54 in the Barents Sea.

26 companies want to explore in the north
14/03/2019 The application deadline for production licences in the 23 rd licensing round expired on 2 December. Twenty-six companies had applied for exploration acreage by the end of the deadline.
