New in APA 2024

ApplicationID

In APA 2024, each application will have an individual ID, referred to as "ApplicationID" in the relevant forms and documents.

The ApplicationID is repeated in all file names related to the application and must also be used in the "Application list from company" table in the application letter.

When paying the application fee, the payment must be marked with the ApplicationID.

ApplicationIDs are sent by contacting apa@sodir.no. You will receive 50 ApplicationIDs, consisting of six letters and you can freely choose which IDs you want to use. It is the company submitting the application that gives the ApplicationID to the application, and the partners must use the same ID in "Application letter from Company". If an application is submitted with the ApplicationID "NODCAT", the other participants in the AMI must refer to "NODCAT" in their "Application letter from company" and Company_Information.xlsx.

Stratigraphic level

This year, the stratigraphic level must be denoted in the ApplicationData.xlsx form if the application is stratigraphic. The main rule is top or base stratigraphic level (formation) and older or younger. For example: Top Kolmule fm and older.

Confirmation of receipt

This year, the Norwegian Offshore Directorate will not send out individual confirmation of receipt of applications to companies.

Confirmation as "sent" in L2S Authority Communication is to be regarded as receipt of the authorities' receipt of application(s).
