14/03/2019 We have upgraded our website. The content is largely the same as before, but we have made an effort to improve, streamline and update to give you a better user experience.

“The goal of the upgrade is to give the user a better experience, both as regards design, content and search. The content is now mainly organised in three categories – Facts, Regulations and About us,” explains project coordinator Martha Steensnæs, who has led the project over the last two years.

Adapted to all platforms

The solution is responsive, which means that it functions just as well on tablets as mobile phones and your office pc. Search functionality has also been improved. To ensure the maximum user experience, we recommend that you use the latest version of browsers such as Chrome, Edge or Safari.

You can continue to subscribe to our news feed. If you are not already a subscriber, you can register your news subscription here.

The websites for FORCE and Diskos have also been upgraded. FORCE is a cooperating forum for the companies, while Diskos is a national data repository for information related to exploration and production from the Norwegian Shelf.

We welcome your feedback

“A website undergoes constant development, and we want to make sure that our users’ needs and experience are always in focus. We hope you will contact us with both positive and negative feedback that we can use to make the website even better,” says web editor Signe Vaula.

If you have questions or comments, send an email to the web editor.

The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s Factpages and Factmaps have not been changed.
