The Director general looks forward to summarizing the year 2020 on the Norwegian shelf.

07/01/2021 At 10.00-11.00 on Thursday, 14 January 2021, Director general Ingrid Sølvberg will present ‘The shelf in 2020’.

‘The shelf’ provides a summary of the past year on the Norwegian shelf, along with forecasts for the next five years (Norwegian only).

“I hope and believe that 2021 will be a more ‘normal’ year than 2020, although the Covid-19 situation will continue to have an impact on this year as well. We expect a high level of activity in both exploration, development and production. This provides a good foundation for new discoveries and production from the Norwegian shelf that will benefit our society as a whole,” says Director general Ingrid Sølvberg.

‘The shelf 2020’ will be streamed live via our website, npd.no (in Norwegian only).

“I look forward to presenting ‘The shelf 2020’ and I hope that as many people as possible will be watching,” the Director general adds.
