The NOR-way. The authorities’ stand at this year’s ONS is designed like a classroom. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about the Norwegian model. Phooto: Øystein Leiknes Nag/NPD

29/08/2022 In keeping with tradition from previous years, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate will be in place in Hall 8 during ONS 2022, which will get under way on 29 August. The theme for this year’s stand is ‘The NOR-way’ and the concept is built around a classroom.

The NPD’s IOR award will be presented on 30 August.

This year we are celebrating 50 years since the Storting resolved to establish the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate, and that it would be located in Stavanger. This year’s stand – which we share with the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy – reflects how we utilise knowledge from the past to look towards the future – The NOR-way.
